Cremation is a rapid process where your pets’ remains
are reduced to their original elements through intense heat. During
cremation, your pet is gently laid on the hearth of the crematory
and the door is closed until the cremation is complete. Our state
of the art B & L 500 Crematory and tagging system minimizes
the potential for human error and guarantees the pet that we receive
and cremate is the pet you loved and cared for. Cremation
normally takes 2-3 hours and when completed the ashes or “cremains” are
placed in an urn and returned to their owner.
Individual Cremation - your pet is placed into the cremation chamber and is kept separate from all other pets. The remains of your pet are then returned to you in the urn of your choice, usually within 72 hours along with the Certificate of Cremation.
Communal Cremation – your pet will be cremated with other
animals and the cremated remains are not separated from the others. This
option maintains a high level of dignity at a modest cost. The
cremated remains are not returned but are scattered at the discretion
of Pet Heaven.
